DISCOUNTING HOLLYWOOD

I hardly ever go to movies anymore and it there’s ever a movie I really want to see I’ll just wait for it to show up in ReBox. I’ll admit the reasons I do this are a bit petty. It’s my own little way to rebel by putting as little money possible into the big liberal Hollywood machine. Out of touch actors who rail against my political beliefs drove me to it.
Shia LaBeouf, Bryan Cranston, Cher, Madonna, Ashley Judd, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck … I could go on all day, have shot their mouths off long enough calling people like myself every vile name in the book, again and again, and again, and again. I used to really love movies and the occasional tv show but not so much these days. I “discount” what goes on in them these days more than ever.
I’m sure many people are wondering if anyone is going to out Meryl Streep her Golden Globe anti-Trump tirade on Sunday night at the Oscars.
Recently a Hollywood Reporter pole revealed 6 out of 10 Americans can’t even name one Best Picture Nominee.
What this tells me is America for the most part is more and more discounting what’s coming out of Hollywood. And I’m sure many who do eventually watch these movies are waiting for them to show up on RedBox because $1.50 is all they think they are worth.
The quote, “ALL THOSE ASSHOLES MAKE ARE UNWATCHABLE MOVIES FROM UNREADABLE BOOK.” came from the Quentin Tarantino (who I can no longer stand because one morning he woke up on of the most obnoxious celebutards in Hollywood) movie “True Romance” spoken by the character Clarence Worley played by Christian Slater who was expressing his distain for modern Hollywood blockbusters.
What we need is Shia LaBeouf to show up and start chanting the mantra, “THEY WILL NOT DIVIDE US” to help take down the huge barricade that surrounds the Dolby Theater that divides we lowly plebs from the Hollywood Royalty.

I use to go to the movies, watch TV shows etc. but not anymore, I’m so sick of hollywood being so out of touch with 99% of America / the real world. I wish, just wish, they had to live the way the rest of us do, wouldn’t take them long to garner a different perspective. Keep up the great & awesome work you do. God speed.

Telling it like it is to the hypocrites in Hollyweird. I do the same. Haven’t been in a theater for a Hollywood pic in over 2 years, tv programs are as bad. I used to go a few times a month. I have better things to do than be socially engineered into the mind fu*k that Hollywood spits out these days.
And I feel exactly the same way about Redbox. I don’t want to give them my money. I hope their virtue signalling and leftist brainwashed big mouths have riled up enough of us and they lose their huge paydays.

managing to out do its past level of stupidity and decadence. I prefer the classics and Old Hollywood. 30 and 40’s was the best era imho. I am now on to old British films. The BBC put out some great works in the past. I am very selective about what I read. Ergo, I buy none of their polluted books.

Hollywood and it’s product have reached a never before seen level of tripe this year. I wish I could call this years Oscar films mediocre but I’d be stretching by even calling them grade B- films. That is what you get when Bankers take over an art form. The deserving and interesting Indie films need to take over the film industry before we’re all bored to death.

We are a family of 7, my husband, three of our kids, and I are are Republicans, two of our kids (and their spouses), are die-hard Demos. My in-laws are all Republicans. My Family has both. We have discovered that the left speaks loudly, quickly, redundantly, and unedited, repeating words they’ve heard, no thoughts of their own.
I cannot believe that my husband and I have actually funded our kids’ liberal tuition!
Makes us sick! We thought College was supposed to be a place of free thinking, of learning, questioning, growing – not a place where Liberals have you trapped in their classrooms, and, where (no one stands up for conservatives) conservatives are not allowed to be heard, ugh!
Wish our budget allowed for donations, with four kids in college it’s hard times for us. As soon as we can, we are planning on purchasing some of your posters as Christmas gifts for our liberal kids, and of course, some for ourselves!
