I’ve never made it a secret that I hate the establishment class of the Republican party. Shit! the reason we have a Democrat ass clown like Trump as the Party candidate is because most everyday conservative is sick and tired of our do nothing politicians in Washington. But talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water!
Republicans for the most part love their weekends, a bbq here, bass fishing there. We get up, go to work, try doing the best we can with the kids, and that’s life. We tend to be simple, honest, fair. It’s the Democrats who establish community groups, protest, become politically charged assets to the things they believe in and their party. While Republicans are at home with their families picking their butts, the Democrats are out trying to take over the world.
That’s why the democrats pretty much own Hollywood, the media, the music industry, and have just about every artist and entertainer in the country as their mouth piece. But I’m straying from the point.
I don’t believe most Republicans are engaged enough to have the kind of appreciation for the divide that’s managed to almost kill the party. To them every Republican politician is the same. Maybe I’m naive but i still hold out hope that there are some, few maybe, but some good leaders in our party who honestly want the best for this country.
I honestly believed, based on his actions fighting not only the Democrats but the Establishment wing of the Republican party, that Ted Cruz was the kind of Republican we’d been waiting for. I think it sucks that in the end he reverted to age old, stiff collar political tactics to run his campaign. I think these old ways are stale to a populace who’s looking for someone that doesn’t come across as politician.
